Each university or college has different entry requirements - you can find details of these in Course Search. Click on the course title to see the Entry Profile for a course - Entry Profiles contain entry requirements and what universities look for.
If you would like your reference to be written by a registered school, college or other organisation, go to the 'Options' section and click 'Ask a registered school, college or organisation to write your reference only'.
If you're having trouble verifying your email address, check a few things before you continue: make sure that you have typed your email address correctly. You should also check that the message hasn't been put into a junk mail or spam folder. If you have received more than one code, use the code from the most recent email.
You add details of all of the schools, colleges and universities that you've attended, then click on the 'add qualification' link. You need to enter all qualifications that you've taken or are currently taking. Watch our video guide on entering qualifications on UCAStv.
If your referee is not at a registered centre, enter their contact details in the reference section, click save and then click 'Ask referee to complete reference' at the bottom of the page. We'll send them an email containing login details so that they can enter the reference for you.
Use Course Search on our website to look for universities and colleges that offer the course that you’re interested in. You can search for courses by keyword, subject or course code. You can also narrow down your search by picking only certain subjects, course levels, universities, or regions of the country.
The UCAS Tariff is a points system used to report achievement for entry to higher education in a numerical format. It shows how different types of qualifications compare and provides comparisons between applicants with different types and volumes of achievement.
Check out the UCAS website for more details on the UCAS tariff.
If you originally applied to fewer than five choices, you can add more choices as long as you have not accepted or declined your offers. You can add any further choices until 30 June. To add a choice, log in to Track, go to the choices section and click on 'add a choice'.
You can submit a late application up until 30 June but the universities don’t have to consider you. It’s a good idea to contact them before applying to check what their policy is for late applicants.
If you're waiting for a letter, it can take up to a week to be received in the post after the relevant change has been made to your application. If it's being sent outside the UK, this could take up to three weeks. Check out the full details of the letters we send.
You can substitute a choice within seven days from the date printed on your original UCAS welcome letter. In Track, go to the 'choice details' page for the choice you want to change and select 'substitute choice'. This will let you change the university or college details. You can only change each choice once.

It's that time of year when you're waiting for decisions from your choices. Need some advice? Here's where you can find it:
